And one last comment: Last night was a tough crowd with emotions running high and no shortage of passion or ire from the public and I want to commend the new BOE President Lenny for managing through the evening's privilege of the floor session with diplomacy and professionalism. Thanks Lenny!

Hi Renata, hopefully this will all finally be put to an end. I was unable to attend the meeting last night and wondered what Dr. Gallon meant by the certification issues have been "resolved". Does this mean they're ALL certified? Or does it mean he and Kemp are certified and the other two ladies no longer need certification for their positions so the issue is resolved? Just thought I'd ask.
Although he did not answer directly I understand the ladies have been issued "standard" certificates from NJ -- so to that end it is resolved.
So the next step, in my opinion is to have a roundtable discussion on how the BOE will ensure this will NOT happen again. I plan to send an email follow-up to them in a few. I'll post it later this evening as I have lots to do today in prep for a bake sale, fundraiser pick-up and winter concert.

They are certified as teachers, someone needs to make sure they are not holding a "pseudo-supervisory" role. Where is Pam Garcia going? I heard another coach took over for her, but again nothing was posted and the position was not open to interviews...
Do not be fooled...these two women are STILL holding a high position with no change to salary or what they can demand of others... they are TEACHERS...they did not qualify for a supervisor certificate and remember...that position was changed to principal admin positions,,,they would have to take the 6 hour written exam,,,can tell you now, they did not do that. They are still part of the decision making process in the district...this is crazy.
...and if their positions have been truly changed, then who has picked up Borge and Kelly's responsibilities?? Do you mean to tell me the existing teachers who have been reporting to them for the past 1.5 years have assumed those responsibilities?
