Fabulous Investigative Reporting Renata, how about the fact that all 4 drive cars with Florida License Plates isn't that ILLEGAL too?

I know you believe "the truth shall set you free" but hopefully, tomorrow, the PROOF shall set US free!

Add this: Word around the high school is that the summer school program did not meet the necessary requirements to satisfy the state administrative code of 60 hours of instruction for each class, thereby nullifying any credits that those students may have earned or grade promotions that might have been received.

An extension was requested for students to complete the program and it was granted by the board. Unfortunately, the students still were more than 12 hrs. short of completion. The summer program was therefore never completed but the district affirmed the completion of the state regulations with full knowledge of staff and administrators. Students who did not complete the state requirement of 60 hours of instruction were allowed to graduate or be promoted. INEXCUSABLE, ILLEGAL, UNACCEPTABLE, FRAUDULENT.

Administrative Code 6A:32-10.5 section d Student Assignment and Credit p73

State codes and rules don't seem to matter to the Florida "residents".... License Plates wink, wink!

Summer School------Administrators were in charge of summer school------administrators from the very top to the very bottom knew that the students did not complete the state requirements-------one top administrator was praised by her superior about the success of the summer program. They all knew the law(or should have)and ignored it or turned their heads. Has the word ethics been removed from the dictionary?

Minutes from the August 11 work&study meeting Plainfield Board of Education.

There was extensive discussion regarding curriculum, curriculum guides and textbooks.
Dr. Gallon said they are preparing to transition out of their Plainfield Passport to Summer Learning.
This has been a successful and challenging endeavor. They are very proud of the enrichment they
provided to their students. One caveat, the students involved in remediation and promotion will have
their summer leaning end on the 19th of August. The regular students participating in enrichment
terminating this Thursday, but in order to comply with the students’ requirements resulting in
promotion for graduation it has to be a minimum of 60 contact hours. They wanted to maximize the
number of students for graduation. The summer school programs will be three days longer. They will
continue through next Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday. Appropriate notification is being made to
parents and teachers.
Even by adding 3 additional days to summer school (because they realized they were not in compliance)they still came up twelve hours short or just over a week short.

They all knew they were not in compliance and told the county and state that all was well in Gallonland. Simple math allows an educated public to add up the number of minutes per class and see if it totals 3600 minutes of instruction. Obviously the administration can't do simple math.
