Do you know whether the board has to wait for the outcome of the state investigation? I have been hearing that they are waiting for that at the behest of the county supt. Also, I don't think that board members can say anything about this issue to the public. Board member Wilma has said that she cannot discuss this with the public. I would rather not speak to other board members. I think the email address is a better way to get the message across. Are those district phone numbers? Are we also paying for their phones? If so, that seems excessive for board members.

Hi there! What they need to do is speak to their legal team and see if this gives them legal cause for termination. BOE members can not speak to the public on the matter as individuals but they certainly can issue a public statement of their position. With regard to calling I would not suggest a conversation be had but simply a statement regarding your position on the issue.

These are the numbers they supplied to the public domain. I have no idea if they are all cells or land lines.

The goal is to get them to MOVE on this.

I thought Maria's blog was again deflecting the issues today. "Why is HR so complicated?", it's not that complicated. It only becomes complicated when Superintendents insist upon hiring their friends that are not qualified acording to the law. Then Superintendents refuse to recommend their friends termination because it's personal not personnell. Maria want to blame this on Human Resources but she can't because the Superintendent Recommends and the BOE Approves.
