The Book | Chapter 2 : Eighteen

From Candice’s office window you can see the entire encircled figure eight layout of the arboretum. The outer circle was lined with brilliant cherry blossoms that were strategically placed every ten to fifteen feet apart and in between them were Azaleas, Boxwood and Hydrangea bushes all adorned in shades of pink, purple, whites and creams. Each was slightly staggered giving the outer and inner circle edges zigzag pattern like that of a star burst.

The quartz lined sidewalk gave way to this magnificent site and provided four miles of walking from start to finish for those inclined to do their daily walking or jogging. Benches took their mark at the side arcs of the figure eight layout providing a pleasant enclave for a midsummer love nest, or girlfriend chat session or a solo rendezvous.
